70cl / 53.8% / Gleann Mor - The independently owned Cooley distillery had a vision to rescue some of the famous Irish whiskey brands of the past, and since its opening in 1987 it has become a significant player in the Irish whiskey market. This release was matured in an ex-bourbon cask and finished in an ex-rum cask before being bottled by Gleann Mor. On the nose there are aromas of pear drops, burnt caramel and banana, complemented by notes of raisin and baking spices on the palate.
